   Despite it's relative small size, Delaware offers a diversity of water-oriented activities equivalent to that found in much larger States. In addition, the cost to own property in Delaware is far less than the cost to maintain property in other States, say New Jersey, considering the wide gap in property taxes. Individuals preferring old-town charm can hang out in Lewes, while those in search of more activity will head to Rehoboth or Dewey. In need of downtime? Cape Henlopen State Park should suffice. Groups interested in conducting business while enjoying the sun and sand may utilize the University of Delaware Virden Center in Lewes with it's conference rooms, food and overnight lodging. The venue may also be rented out by members of the public for club meetings, social events or weddings.
